Community Center for Children and Young with physical disabilities
Is a subdivision of the Municipal Direction for the Protection of Children’s Rights, which started work on October 29, 2001. The center provides services in the following programs: rehabilitation, Orthodox Christian education, counseling children and families to spend quality time together, social-cultural activities and entertainment, volunteering and organizational development.
Services mentioned above are provided for the following beneficiaries: :
• Children and youth with physical disabilities (ages 7-21)
• Parents of children with disabilities
• Children and youth from Chişinău and suburbs
• Teaching staff from special institutions
• University students undergoing their practicum (state, annual, annual work, license), and high school students
• Volunteers
• Specialists from other city centers and from throughout the Republic (social workers, teachers, psychologists, etc.)
• State institutions and non-governmental organizations
• Community members
