Resource Center “disABILITY”

In the period of January to April 2008 the Association “MOTIVATIE” of Moldova implemented a pilot project to help develop the capacities for NGOs and initiative groups for people with disabilities.

As a result of the project and with the help of proposals from participants, “MOTIVATIE”, in collaboration with the Municipal Department for the Protection of Children’s Rights created a resource center in disability.

Beneficiaries of the Resources Center “disABILITY” are:

 • Nongovernamental organizations and governamental organizations in the field of disabilities

• The initiative groups working in the field of people with disabilities

• Parents and families of children and youth with disabilities

• Volunteers

• Students

• Teaching Staff

• Members of the community services

• Technical assistance and information (books, magazines on current issues in the field of disabilities, newspapers, Internet access, CD / DVD, booklets, leaflets).

• Training activities

• Consultancy and assistance
